For my lovely readers who read my blog entry last week, you know about the Girl Power Event, Fashion Swap today at Seattle SoDo Park. The idea is to clean out your closet and swap your clothing items with others. There were also shoes, purses and accessories for swap.
What’s most wonderful about this event is that any leftover items is donated to the Jubilee Women’s Center. And Girl Power Hour founder Darnell Sue was giving away some dresses to Ruby Room, a local non profit organization that provides prom outfit to low income girls.
For information, events and how to become a member of Girl Power Hour, visit http://www.girlpowerhour.com.
Next networking event will be on May 19, 2011, Fit and Fab. at Pure Barre Bellevue. Health and wellness is much more than exercise, it’s a mind/body balance, especially for women. The Girl Power Hour fitness challenge will culminate at this event with a celebration of GPH dedication to better physical and mental health. Sip low-cal cocktails, take in fitness demos, get swag, network, and win door prizes while learning about Pure Barre, SHE Wellness and how to integrate the triad of health into your life.
