Beachcombing

A lot of people are bound by a financial chain around their necks.

They HAVE to get up every morning and go to work.

They HAVE to report to their bosses or risk losing their jobs.

They live for the weekends, because that’s all they have to look forward to.

I used to be one of them. Worked hard, played hard.

One day I wake up and I chose to gain freedom from the rat race,

and freedom to choose how I want to spend my life.

It’s not avoiding responsibility, but life can be simple if I am willing to give

up things that are not important.

Now, every day is a Saturday to me.

I learned to appreciate the real quality of life and small things around me.

Times spent with my loved ones, travel (Summer in Paris), vintage finds, decorating, write, good books, beach walks, and many more.

I am in control of my life and my future.

The quality life I deserve is a simple life filled with love and creativity.

I feel as if I am a beachcomber in a beautiful pristine beach. Living my life, looking for things of value.

How do you want to spend the rest of your life ?
